Dalia Power Energies

Dalia Power Energies Ltd. was founded in 2005 with the aim of setting up and operating a private power station that will provide electricity at a cheaper price than the Israel Electric Corporation while encouraging and developing competition in the electricity sector.

The Dalia Power Plant was established at the Tzafit site in accordance with government policy, and the understanding that action should be taken to encourage competition in the Israeli electricity sector. The power plant is based on combined-cycle technology and operates using a gas turbine and a steam turbine. Dalia is a major player in the electricity market and accounts for approx. 7% of the Israeli economy’s electricity production capacity.

Lighting designer Eilon Gavisha chose D-led as a company that has the ability to meet the requirements of the project to illuminate the various headlines in the plant under high temperature resistant cells and harsh external conditions by using RESIST lighting fixtures.

The chimneys were illuminated with D-WASH light fixtures combined with different shades and lenses to create a total effect on each chimney according to its size.
