d-led Lights Up Eilat's Crown Jewel
A new affiliate of "Royalty" jewelries was launched in Eilat, the southern city of Israel; illuminated entirely with d-led's LED lighting.
When you stroll through Eilat's Sea Mall, one of the busiest malls in the city of Eilat, in the south of Israel, you immediately notice the new crown jewel - the prestigious jewelry store Royalty. The walls, covered with brilliant wallpapers have been illuminated by eleven Channel 4 units incorporating Rebel ES in 3000K, creating a luxurious atmosphere. Eighty four of our Source Linear System fixtures in 2700K were placed to light the display cabinets. Seventeen down light fixtures incorporating Cree modules (37W 2900 lumens@4000K) were installed into the ceiling to give the ambient light needed and to spread 500 lux within the store space. Above the store counter at 4m high, we customized twenty of our QT fixtures inside QR 111 housings, spreading 1000lux equally over the counter, enhancing the experience of the everyday shoppers. Finally, six of our DR-SD12/ DR-SD6 controllers were used to balance the amount of light during the working hours of the day, making it affordable and cost efficient.
"I chose d-led to give the solution for this project, specifically because I wanted to make the best of the benefits of LED lighting; high output, high CRI, and a cost effective system that would be a proper replacement for my regular use of MH and halogen lamps" says Gadi Gol, Royalty's project architect.
