Habimah National Theatre

The Israeli Habimah National Theatre opens its doors and presents a new face after being under architectural reconstruction for five years. In this challenging light design project, light designer Noa Lev chose d-led's fixtures to illuminate the amazing building.
The mushroom construction: 72 D-Wash units were used to illuminate the 6 Barrisol covered Mushroom columns in the lobby of the theatre. The light inside them is dissolving from Warm White to Amber and controlled by 6 MegaACEs.
The theatre's counters: 53 meters of the theatre counters are covered with a special broken glass effect and are illuminated by 79 Source Linear fixtures.
The stairs: There were two challenges in the stairs. One was supplying a high power linear fixture in small size that would go 145 meters along the curved stairs, and the other was placing those fixtures in the small gap left between the floor and the parquet that covered the stairs. The powerful result was achieved by using customed length Slim fixtures. Every step had its own measure and there for its own Slim. All the 159 custom made 2700K Slim fixtures were powered by 12 MegaACEs control drivers.
